Read between Bath, England and Berlin, Germany.
This, along with Jane Eyre, I read when I was 11-12. Then in my twenties, either backpacking around Europe or maybe the Italy trip, I reread Jane Eyre because I came across it in a hostel. I tried to reread Wuthering Heights at the same time and quickly gave up. I thought it was pretty terrible, tbh.

I brought this book to the beach, and soon found out that it was not a beach read. I took up the book shortly afterwords and read it. After reading this book, the feeling you end up with is anger and annoyance; you barley fall in love with the characters, except for Hareton. All of the characters are selfish and manipulating, but since that is how the author wanted to portray them, I guess this book is great. The structure is at times complicated, but all in all, the book is wonderful and powerf
