Absolutely delicious. I completely devoured this book.
Edit: April 24, 2008 - I'm re-reading this entire series as so much hype is surrounding the movie production it's making me want to recapture the enjoyment of the story. I loved this series and read it entirely too fast the first time.

I admit that I have a soft spot for vampires, especially romantic ones, but this was really such a good book. Impatiently waiting to get to a bookstore and start reading the next one!

I was really quite surprised by how much I loved this book - I sort of read it on a lark, borrowed from a friend, but it's really quite an enjoyable read, even if the main character has some...shall we say self-sufficiency issues. But, very easy to get into and hard to put down!

It's rare that I read something written in 1st person that I can really get into, but Bella's teenage drama is well represented and doesn't get too out of hand. Edward is as likeable a hero as one could wish for, fangs included. I can't wait to read the second in the series.
