This installment in the Harry Hole series is pretty good, but the violence is particularly gruesome. The plot is particularly convoluted, and I think there were some things that could have been cut or condensed to help with that. Suffice it to say that this time around, the villain is killing people who all happened to be at the same ski cabin on a certain weekend.
