What Members Thought

Loved this book. It's a novelized account of the siege of Masada from the point of view of four women living within the walls. Seems to have been meticulously researched. The language is simple. The women are strong and compelling. Their stories are vivid and not too sensationalistic. My only two gripes are that 1. our four narrators do not differ in their turn of phrase, language, voice and 2. The story of Revka is somehow abruptly truncated, so drastically that I think my edition is missing so
