This book is awesome and I loved it -- don't be turned off by the tool-y title. I followed the '08 primaries/election closely, but this book is focused on the behind-the-scenes machinations that aren't a part of the 24-hr news cycle. It really humanizes all of the candidates, politicians and staffers involved. Totally fascinating -- even though you already know how it ends.

Listened to the audiobook -- very good reader, and the text lends itself well to audio.

I forgot just how dramatic the 2008 presidential election was. Even knowing the final outcome, this was still a compelling read.
Meg - A Bookish Affair
Game Change is mostly about the relationship between Obama and the Clintons during the 2008 election. It also has some information about McCain, Edwards and Palin although the information was not as in depth. It was sort of interesting to see all of the things that went on behind the scenes during the election. Some of the information is salacious, as one would expect from any political book of this nature.
