Shelves: thriller, dystopia, adventure
Recommend for high school. This was just a really well done book that deals with a lot of complicated social issues in a really complex and interesting way. Overall, Shusterman did a good job portraying all sides of an issue and really leaves it up to the reader to weigh the issues on their own. Even aside from all of the tricky issues discussed throughout the book, it's just a really great adventure/coming of age story for the three main characters thrust on their own struggling to survive.
