What Members Thought
This was an engrossing story. I particularly enjoyed that you’re figuring out the world along with the characters - the reader doesn’t have any additional insights or information. The characters themselves were interesting and while the book is long, it didn’t feel like it was.
Great concept, killer plot, got increasingly gripping, but oh man, the need for an editor to hack away at the endless passages of internal reflection, especially near the beginning. I think I was expecting too much, since it had SO many 4- and 5-star reviews here and on Amazon, more than I've ever seen. But even with my complaints, I still couldn't put it down.

AWESOME.
Very interesting, well written with good characters. I'll probably think about this one more. Will definitely check out the sequels.
