I enjoyed it, though some of the climate change information got a bit lecture-y. The depictions of living with limited funds and opportunities resonated with me more.

Flight Behavior is a story about people facing what they don't believe, new cultures, and the truth of their own lives. Kingsolver brilliantly explores how science connects (or doesn't connect) with our popular culture. I also enjoyed her explorations of religion, love, and the paths we choose in life.

I give this book four out of five stars. I'd recommend it for its compelling story of two cultures meeting, and for an engaging exploration of the effect of climate change on communities.

While there is not doubt Kingsolver has beautiful prose, the storyline in this book falls flat. Part of the problem seemed to be the development of the main character, Dellarobia, who never quite feels authentic.
