Much more interesting, and amazing, than I expected. Issue book packed full of issues but you actually care deeply about the characters and stuff actually fits together and it doesn't end up a pat, dry jumble like most YA issue-books. Just, really good. I regret not reading it until I was 24.

I don't have anything to say about this book that others haven't said:
Chbosky does a great job with the epistolary novel, a tricky thing to pull off. The letters read real and natural.
Charlie's open and often naive view of the world is such a punch in mouth sometimes. In a good way.
I would give this five stars, but the ending -- while not surprising -- felt like a cop-out. Chbosky could've done better. ...more

Highly emotion and moving. I would recommend this for anyone that doesn't have a heart of ice.
