Complex and layered this was enjoyable. Gaiman tells a ripper of a story, of a different earth populated with myths and miracles centuries before they were meant to appear. This is a well told story - filled with characters who are variations of the usual superhero/mutant worlds I normally inhabit.

Interesting ending too....and I wonder where that will take us?

I went into this not expecting to like it that much (though I'm not sure why, since I like almost everything Neil Gaiman does).

I loved it. Although I am a bit ashamed of how long it took me to figure out who some of the characters were. Also, I can't think of a way to review this without giving away major plot points. You should just read it.
