Really nice art. Good story. Sam just tried to read Ghost World and gave up in disgust, which suggested the comparison to me. Similar themes---adolescents being adolescenty---but I prefer Skim's less artsy/futile plot. Granted, it's been a while since I read Ghost World, so maybe I should pick it up again. ...more

Graphic Novel- great read! Great for high school students dealing wiht family issues, sexual identity, suicide, friendship etc.
