Fast Read

I do like a good novel in verse. This was a fast read because it was interesting to watch how one innocent girl could sink to such a low so fast. Even as I read it, I thought that “Bree” was smart enough to make some wise decisions but it wasn’t the case. Kristina was the smart one, Bree was the tough one that every person has hiding inside them-and at some point she either breaks free or dies.

What a book! I always find it amazing such a good story can be told via poetry. In this case the prose is perfect for this story. It brings the battle with the monster to another level and seems to make it even more realistic. I have wanted to read this book for ages, glad I finally got around to it. Great read. I will have to check out the sequel too!
