Someone Else's Fairytale (Someone Else's Fairytale, #1) in Readers Delight

The title, I have to say from the first time I came across it, seized my interest. Also the book cover looked fantastic and mysterious with the mirror and the girl stood in front of it as well. I became completely drawn towards the book and soon it was on top of my Amazon wish list and I jumped at the chance to buy it and finally read it!

The start of the novel was archetypal and I felt like I had read a few books ,before with the same concepts of a beginning. However after a slight Mi-Nute hesi The title, I have to say from the first time I came across it, seized my interest. I became completely drawn towards the book and soon it was on top of my Amazon wish list and I jumped at the chance to buy it and finally read it!

The start of the novel was archetypal and I felt like I had read a few books ,before with the same concepts of a beginning. However after a slight Mi-Nute hesitation I dug in and realised that this was something new and in fact was whole new-found world consisting of characters of different personalities with thought-provoking pasts, that would seep into their present lives, bringing their prejudgement and horrors with them.

The meeting of a girl, who couldn't be less interested in celebrities and Hollywood, with a major superstar who is every girl's dream of a man, is totally intriguing and of interest. The weird thing about this story is that the superstar named Jason Vanderholt surprisingly seems to take interest in the normal, average University Student and part-time employee of a coffee shop, Chloe Winters.

Chloe Winters is a normal University student studying forensic science as a major which holds a great significance to her past. She's really smart and probably is on the path to be valedictorian, reminds me of me sometimes being a smartass and apparently a 'know-it-all'. Her non-attention seeking attitude towards celebrities is what I envy because knowing me I'd just be jumping up in excitement if I came across someone like Jason Vanderholt. The story also involves various characters that the reader can relate to. There's Lori, the enthusiastic roommate with a sense of humour and then the Texan English-obsessed Matthew with his values of religion alongside him. Chloe is a really composed person, stronger than she looks and holds a lot of secrets that could her weigh her down if not resolved. When Jason Vanderholt comes along and recognises her because of sibling similarity she feels her past creep up on her, slowly swallowing her confidence and bringing up traumatising events of ten years ago. To make matters worse someone from her past, the last person she'd want to be seeing and the cause of the events, turns up all of a sudden. Chloe's not sure what to do, fight or flight? 10 years ago she chose to fight but this time it's a whole lot worse and without friends by her side she won't be able to get through it by herself. Is it time she let someone in to her gloom of a past and help her climb out of the misery and despair that seems to pop up repeatedly out of nowhere?

The storyline gripped my attention and after just a few pages in, I'd stepped into a whole new place, stepped into Chloe Winter's world of complications, horror, romance and surprise. The whole atmosphere was enhancing, engrossing consisting of unexpected events and twists of the original, typical fairytale storyline. An engaging story exploring true love, fairytales and the essence of being yourself. Also compressed with exciting, pleasing roll of experiences with happenings of a different world that is waiting to be discovered by vivacious, enthusiastic readers! Something unique filled with a lot of excellent aspects held together perfectly and holds something for everyone with a passion for books.
