Cirque Du Freak is a circus show that both protagonist Darren and Steve attends. One booth, however, caught both of their eyes which was Mr.Crepsley and his cool spider. Little did they know that this spider is a deadly one and Mr.Crepsley is a vampire (they eventually know this in the middle of the book). This book was REALLY good. It left me on the edge of my seat the whole way through it. I almost couldn't stop reading at one point and had to force myself to stop so I could finish my school work.

Interesting story told from a young boy's point of view. There were parts I felt were a little childish for an adult reader, but hopefully as the character ages, they get better.
