What Members Thought
I liked this book okay. I found some of the wording the author used to be a bit hard to follow. I found it very interesting the take the author took on historical events like the maiden voyage of the Mayflower. But I thought the story lacked depth. I did not think the characters were very developed and I was not invested in them so I really did not care much about what happened to them. There are two other books in this series so hopefully they are better.
Slow start
It is the story of a the shy girl who is not in the "in" crowd. Influencal families, school drama and learning who is your true friends.

It was a good book. It grabbed my interest for sure but it was a little slow in parts. The idea and plot is pretty great!
Entertaining, I'm eager to see where the author will take this story.
