I never wanted to read this book. I absolutely loathed the title, the cover (Yeah, yeah I know) and the first chapter. The only reason I got it was because I finished Succubus Blues and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the read so I figured I'd give the author another chance.

I did not think that I would like this book as much as I did. It has been a book I have considered reading for a long time. I am glad I finally did.

So. Finally watched the movie- I waited to Netflix it since the trailer for it made it look so atrociously cheesy. The trailer did not lie.
Dimitri was not very good looking whatsoever. The princess was a bit on the ugly side too. I loved rose. The special effects were absolutely dreadful.

This book is about a girl named Rose and a girl named Lissa. Rose is a dhampir and Lissa is a vampire. Rose and Lissa left there academy because it was bad. They were found and Rose was trained to be Lissa's guardian. They have this strong bond that Rose just focus on Lissa and she can see everything she is doing.
