Highly recommend this book! I would call this pop sci-fi. I’m not someone who usually reads science fiction and I really enjoyed this. It doesn’t delve extremely deep into the science of it all, and focuses more on the humanitarian effects and social consequences involved with the science. I don't know how I feel about this one. I know I preferred Dark Matter though. The very ending was frustrating. It might have even been heartbreaking, but I'm just not sure. This one was at its best when it focused on the small personal stories and the intimate bits of the characters' lives. I lost a lot of interest when it turned to saving all of existence.
