Not overrated. Raw. Brutally honest. And insightful.

Own your wanting.
Eat the apple.

Fuck yeah, Glennon Doyle.

I didn't really know what to expect from this book. It's what everyone is reading now, and I had heard good things, but that's always a mixed bag. I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed - this is a really enjoyable read. I think it's really geared towards women, although I'm sure some open-minded men would probably get a lot out of it. Glennon is a favorite of mine. I listened to this on Audiobook and immediately started it again so I could take it all in again.

Would’ve been a DNF but only powered through cause it fulfills a prompt in my reading challenge.

This really felt like just an inauthentic lecture where each sentence was written with the idea of it being a standalone “inspirational” quote.

This book started out rough for me. I’m not usually a self help person, and all the talk about breaking out of your cage just didn’t resonate with me. Listened to the audiobook, narrated by the author.

So many bits and pieces struck a chord. I don't know that I would have appreciated this book at a younger age, or even a couple years back. This book resonates now because I've lived through major changes and events as an adult. These life experiences changed my perspective and that's what I came to this book with. I want to read this book to really pause and take note of certain quotes. I imagine, whenever I come back to this book, different par

I have mixed feelings on Untamed. I LOVED the themes of building your truest, most beautiful life and not sacrificing yourself to please others. Glennon Doyle included funny anecdotes and an intimate telling of her inspiring story.

However the long dialogue felt too perfect, too constructed. The uppity tone of some passages didn't sit well with me either. Doyle is probably preaching to the choir with many readers. Her messages are important, but nothing groundbreaking.
