How do young people learn about relationships? It seems young people learn by having really bad ones. This abusive lesbian relationship narrative fills a gap in existing literature that is long overdue. I listened to the audio-book narrated by the author - it was a quick 5 hours and WOW! You will rethink what qualifies as domestic violence and domestic abuse.

There are so many people recommending this book. I downloaded the audio read by the narrator and the form of the story worked so well and what I can love about the book but the storytelling didn't engage me and I was almost disconnected from the start because it was the slow, measured, guarded telling that I don't often have patience for.
