While Take Me There is written in the same honest tone Colasanti's readers have gotten so used to, there's just something a bit off about the whole thing. Other than Nicole's issue, which isn't revealed until the very end, it's all about the relationships. I don't want to read only about boy trouble! I liked the author's point of view in this book. She wrote it from the perspective of 3 different character's in journal form. I found the plot line engaging as well. I felt like I was back in hign school for a moment... Also I like that fact that the author had a focus on relationships and abuse that may occur within them. When I was in high school, more than 10 years ago, no one spoke or wote about abuse, and I am glad to see that a new generation of readers, will be made more aware of this wh

My friend Susane wrote a book. Well, actually, she wrote several books, and has had much acclaim from them to date. So I read one. It was awesome. I didn't really expect to like it, since it's not in a genre I tend to read, but it was awesome in every way imaginable.
