This was a book club read, and I have to admit that I wasn't ecstatic about reading this one, but figured it was on my "to read" list anyway, so I oughtn't complain. Many people read this book during their highschool years and while part of me wishes that I had found this book sooner, another part of me is glad that i didn't, as I think the flowery language and narrative technique probably would have tried my patience at a younger age and I would have missed the morbidly fantastic story held wit ...more
