As always impressive, impeccably well-researched and adding (and subtracting) characters to the mix, Gabaldon's latest instalment in the _Outlander_ series is an amazingly pleasurable read. The latest book in the Outlander series, it has only been out since 2014. Fantastic historical fiction but be sure to read all the other books first beginning with Outlander.
