I picked this one up with some trepidation, I read Hitchhiker a few years back, it was ok but it didn’t blow me away t9 go and get the rest of the series…. This is a weird one but I actually quite liked it. Dirk himself doesn’t actually turn up until quite a way into the story, although he is mentioned. It took a while to get into, but I enjoyed it. Douglas Adams had a knack for getting his characters in bizarre situations. There were also a few sentences I highlighted because they were beautifully written.
