An unusual book and I am still not sure what it was all about, but there was something that just made me want to carry on reading it. If this had not been on the 1001 list, I don't think I would have picked it up to read it. I just hope my little black cat does not start walking on her back leg and talking to me!!!

The Master and Margarita is a twisty-turny, rollercoaster of a ride. A crazy, fun read for sure. You never know what's going to happen next.
One flaw in my reading experience is that I had some trouble keeping all the characters' and their stories straight, but that's almost to be expected when reading a Russian novel. ;-) ...more

A tad too out there for me.
Alas, I have come to the conclusion that I cannot possibly understand Russian literature. Even after taking an entire English class based upon it (my lowest grade of high school).
