I picked this book up; read a chapter, and put it down. Growing up in a dystopian landscape? Watching as the ties that once bound us together unravel? This book was a fun read. I'd really rate it at 3.5 stars, but that's not an option. This is definitely a YA book. That's not a bad thing, just unexpected. The narrator skews young. I found his knowledge to be a bit too convenient. I was also disappointed that the author overexplained every reference in the book. Trust your audience. If I'm reading a book with the title of Ready Player One, it's pretty much a given that I'm going to have a familiarity with the material. My other issue was really
