I listened to the audiobook, which was read by Patton Oswalt himself (with some supplementary readers/material). I can offer no opinion on the visual portions of this book due to the format, but I ended up enjoying the book a lot more than I originally thought I would. It began as an adolescent male growing-up story, which frankly can be a little tiresome. But Oswalt took it to some interesting places, helped along by his unique style and phrasing.
