Philip Graham is credited with calling journalism "the first rough draft of history." The author of The Perfect Weapon, David E Sanger, one of the highly respected journalists for the New York Times, called his book "current history." I am going with a 'polished second draft of history.'

Whoa!!!! I knew I was going to read a good book...not a scary one. Having followed Sanger via Twitter, NYT & as part of DSR; this was a no brainer & must read. As technology continues to expand into every aspect of our lives, so does our nation's cyber vulnerability and the race of who can hack better and faster. Sanger's writing and ability to explain such a complicated, technological issue makes this book easy to follow and raise your awareness on the continued pushing of boundaries between ad ...more

You think you know about cyber warfare? You don't. You might remember the US attack on Iran's centrifuges or how North Korea's missiles exploded on the launch pad. I suspect you know about Russian interference in our last election.

Critical read on cyber / national security. I thought it was an interesting criticism that Cyber Command was operating at the speed of Strategic Command - debating deterrence and strategic stability; while cyber threats evolve at a much faster pace and it is much different dynamic.
