Happiness, sadness, despair, frustration, grief. Yes. Those feelings were what I felt while reading this book. And when I finished it, I was staring into space for like, 10 minutes. Literally. Cause I was CONFUSED. The love between the characters was so so wrong, I mean, it's disgusting and it's against the law and it's WRONG in the literal sense yet I found myself hoping to have it a happy ending, to please let them have each other in the end. But of course, I knew it wouldn't be. Because it's

Depending on whereabouts you live , it will depend on which cover you recieve . For me in little ol' New Zealand, we had the black cover , which personally I like as it stands out more than the red. And the barbed wire heart looks more realistic on black than red.

"How can something so wrong feels so right?"
Seventeen-year-old Lochan and sixteen-year-old Maya have always felt more like friends than siblings. Together, they faced the world as the 'parents' of their little siblings, Kit, Tiffin and Willa. As their mother continues to abandon them, they need to grow up fast to support their siblings and to be able to fight the future's problems and struggles.
Didn't they know, while fighting the world hand in hand, they started to fall in love... with each oth ...more

Heart breaking and a real page turner. Sometimes I seem to forget what maya and lochan are..
I was especially sad with their situation. Of how they were forced to grow up when they were just what? 17 and 18 yrs old! I admire both of them because they did EVERYTHING they can just so they can be together.
I hate their mom. Because she doesn't care about anyone but herself. It's sad that there are mothers like this.

I finished reading this book last year. People say that they can’t put this book down. Forbidden is a book that you need to put down, stare up at your ceiling and just digest each and every minute amount of it. There are parts of it that made me cringe especially the ones where you know what’s gonna happen next. I was covering my mouth at certain parts because honestly, I couldn’t bring myself to believe that those things are plausible to happen between siblings. It brought me so much discomfort

Even before reading this book I knew that it will be heartbreaking, and it is! And knew that this kind of love will not work out in the end. It was an interesting read and very dramatic. But I got slightly disappointed in the end. I thought that I'll cry but...I didn't.
It was quite disappointing. I'm not blaming the book or the author. I'm just -- blaming myself. Maybe I should just do a reread in the future.
Love the writing style though.

I've been crying for a few hours now. Seriously. Tabitha just seized my heart and then chopped it into tiny pieces. Just imagine loving someone but having to hide it from the whole world because it is considered wrong and immoral and it could land you a minimum of 7 years of imprisonment. Is it really their fault that they were born of the same flesh and blood? Nothing is wrong when it is consensual sex right? So what if they're siblings if they truly love each other as partners? At first, I mis
