I enjoy Garry Disher's Wyatt novels and this one is no exception. A strong plot, tight, economical yet evocative writing and real, multi-dimensional characters. It is a testament to the author's skill that despite the fact that Wyatt is a 'baddie' and a cold blooded killer, we are still rooting for him to get away with his crimes. I especially enjoyed this book as it is set on the Sunshine Coast, where I live, in Queensland Australia.
