Lisa - (Aussie Girl)
Jane Harper's third novel and even though there is a clever link to her bestseller The Dry this really is a stand alone. There are three Bright brothers, but one of them is dead, and the other two brothers meet at the border of their two properties where his body was found at the stockman’s grave, an old landmark in the middle of the Queensland outback. The Bright family’s quiet life is turned upside down as they try to figure out why Cameron was out at the stockman’s grave, and so far from his car. The writing is so descriptive and powerful, you can feel the unrelenting heat of the Queensland outback and the isol ...more
