What Members Thought
There's no disputing that this comic is awesome. However, the original single issues included essays on feminism. Why were these left out of the trade paperback? I have to take this down a star for the omission. I would have loved to read these, and I doubt I'm alone. On the tumblr, DeConnick called them a "bonus for the issue readers." I get the desire to build incentives into buying single issues, I do. But with these, I think it does a disservice to everyone, especially those new to or wantin

This was the best graphic novel I have read in a long time, and I have read a lot of amazing graphic novels lately. If you haven't read it yet, you definitely should! Can't wait for the sequel! I need to know what happens next!

Wow, disturbing and good dystopic tale, where all the disobedient women are sent off-planet. Very Margaret Atwood. The old fashioned ads are especially telling, they really show place.
I'd end up on Bitch Planet in seconds in this future dytopia where being on-compliant to the patriarchy, even through things like not following the beauty standards, gets you locked up. I'm off to see if the library has the second volume yet.
