What Members Thought

I started reading this series because so many of my twitter peeps seem to enjoy it and said it filled the void Caskett had left there when the show ended and I have to say really enjoyed the first installment. For my taste the mystery dragged a little here and there but I will be continuing with the series as I heard it gets better with each installment.

I had to change my rating of this book from 4 stars to 5 stars after the second read through. After having read more in this series and then coming back to the first one, this was an absolute gem and I found I couldn't put it down! I laughed and I *felt* so much for them. I love the beginning of Eve and Roarke's story. So glad I read this one twice.

This book is the start of my addiction to Eve Dallas and Roarke. When I need to get away from life, I read pieces of it. Often that will lead to me reading major portions of it, just to be back at that beginning, just to enjoy their firsts. Reading again, actually starting whole series again Dec 2014. One of the best series out there. Skipping between audio and print.
Many characters in this book become repeating characters. The depth of the characters and the slow reveal of their backstories is part of why I like this series so much. The writing and visualization is amazing.
