This psychodrama was a totally different type of read for me as I am a big Lisa Harris fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Should be interesting to see how the other books in this series spin out.

What an exciting psychological thriller! The compelling prologue hooked me, and I was glued to the pages from there on out.

To say Riley had a lot on her plate is an understatement. She's a widowed single mother of two kids and is dealing with the aftereffects of her husband's bad choices and then his murder, all while wondering if she's going crazy like her mother did. Really strong start!

Belief can frame and entire system of thoughts, patterns and motivations. I. This story, Lisa Harris plays both sides of the coin by playing what the characters believe against the beliefs of the reader for a taut thriller full of shadowy figures!
