“Easy” does it! Combines a powerful message confronting real life issues including violence/rape on college campuses with a well-written story of young love between two beautiful characters. I was captivated and mesmerized from the explosive beginning. An unforgettable journey follows and the memory will linger long after you reach “The End.”

I struggled with writing this review – I wanted to do justice to the “awesomeness” of this story. But, alas, I surrender. I’m not a writer. Nope - I’m just one of the many lucky readers who took the “easy” route sitting back and enjoying the fruits of labor from a new-to-me author who certainly does excel at writing. And the end result is simply marvelous.

There is so much to enjoy and love within the pages of this book. Two lead characters, Lucas and Jacqueline, who’ll come to life on the pages and their joys and sorrows become your own. They were an absolute perfect duet. The relationship and developing romance between them was developed slowly, tenderly and magically.

Just a few of the many highlights for me included: Laughter in the form of a nerdy geek named Benji, who sits beside Jacqueline in class and never fails to voice his opinion or put a smile on her face ( or mine). A BFF and roommate named Erin who is loyal, supportive and a force with which to be reckoned. Even an ex-boyfriend who makes some wrong turns, but does eventually save face and proves that he isn't all bad when he admits that he messed up royally. On the other hand, there is a really bad young man from start to finish, who never does learn his lesson, and one can only hope that justice will be served upon Buck. We meet an understanding mentor and professor who looks beyond the end of his grade book and to the welfare of his students extending the hand of friendship and support. The email/texts that flew back and forth between tutor and student ups the anty on the journey towards a budding romance. Artistic treasures by both Lucas and Jacqueline bring another dimension to their personalities adding to the many delights afforded readers here.

Most assuredly, “Easy” won’t be my last book by Ms. Webber. It was truly a very special and amazing story, making it very “easy” to highly recommend to other readers.

I LOVED this book. I really can't explain how much but let me just say that it's a beautiful story and I really didn't expect to like it so much.
The story, the characters everything is so real. Lucas is amazing, totally swoon-worthy. I liked Jacqueline, I loved Erin.
I also like the fact that it's not just a boy-meet-girl kind of story but there is an actual plot and an issue dealt with in the book.

Just finished the book and found the story easy to get caught up in despite its frequent preachiness and melodrama. The biggest issue and sort of a deal-breaker for me, though, was Lucas' lack of expressed interest in listening to Jacqueline play bass. And I felt that lack was a tremendous loss on Webber's part, especially in fulfilling Jacqueline's potential to YA readers to be not only a survivor but a strong female role model.

This book was absolutely wonderful....I loved it so much. Excellent characters, incredible tension and sensitive handling of sensitive topics. It blew me away. It seems that every book I read by the talented Ms. Webber is even better than the one before it. Well done!!

This is a young adult novel that takes place in student Jacqueline Wallace’s first year of college whereby she is dumped by her boyfriend, Kennedy, of three years after he decides that he no longer wishes for them to be a couple. Jacqueline is devasted with his decision and decides to forego her economics class so she doesn’t have to face her ex, but then is faced with realistic consequences...either attend the class or face failing a class and possibly destroying her GPA, which she has deligent This is a young adult novel that takes place in student Jacqueline Wallace’s first year of college whereby she is dumped by her boyfriend, Kennedy, of three years after he decides that he no longer wishes for them to be a couple. Jacqueline is devasted with his decision and decides to forego her economics class so she doesn’t have to face her ex, but then is faced with realistic consequences...either attend the class or face failing a class and possibly destroying her GPA, which she has deligently been working on maintaining superbly. She decides to plea with the professor of the class to see if there is anything that she can do to pass the class, and he puts her in touch with a tutor, Landon. They e-mail each other back and forth and decide on a time and a place to meet to begin their tutoring sessions. When Jacqueline finally returns to her economics class, she notices a gorgeous boy attending the class that does nothing but draw during the lecture. What’s his deal? And, why is she so attracted to him? Soon after watching him repeatedly, she notices that he has begun staring at her also. Jacqueline is also being stalked and bullyied by one of her ex-boyfriend’s frat-buddies. So much so that an unknown person saves her from being a victim of Buck’s aggressive behavior. That unknown person, who Jacqueline later finds out, is Lucas, the gorgeous tattooed artist that sits in the back of her economics class. They develop a special and heartfelt relationship where Jacqueline is protected solely by Lucas. I found the book to mirror college life respectively and be spot-on with the relationship between college friends and college romances. The novel kept pace with the bumpy and often unpredictable life as a college student when the relationship between the couple intensified. This was a little more mature than just your everyday young adult novel...so beware that there are some adultlike situations that occur within the text of the novel. Easy was an emotionally riveting novel that hinged on honesty, trust, and loyalty. I enjoyed the chemistry that was etched between the couple...Jacqueline with her caring and sweet persona while Lucas possessed that sometimes dark and sensual demeanor. I had read so many good things about this book. Every review I read, everyone loved it. So going into reading this I had high expectations! Well, let me tell you that my expectations were beyond met. I loved Easy!! I could not put it down. I was drawn into the book from page one!
