I loved this book.
I had rated it but not reviewed it which I didn't feel had done it justice.
This book contained some of the most wonderfully crafted characters you could meet.
Loved the FB status updates! They had me giggling out loud at times.
Matt was just adorable and you instantly warm to him. I loved his quirky sense of humour.
I read this in on sitting and what a great read it was. I went through a lot of emotions from laughing to crying and enjoyed this book immensely.

Why didn't I know about this book? I mean, I've seen it on occasion when searching through the Kindle books at Amazon, but I don't recall seeing a review here on GR nor have I noticed it being discussed in a thread. O M G why not??!?

I'll keep this fairly short, because so many other reviews have exhaustively reviewed this book.
Short version: Best. Indie. Novel. Ever.
Seriously. I love independent authors. I love this kind of fiction. But this story wowed me in a lot of ways. Tightly drawn interesting, lovable characters, a mystery that took me completely by surprise. There's a scene where one character describes a parachute free fall to another character (over Facebook chat) that made me want to go jump out of an airplane. A ...more

Another winner…Thank you Maryse at Maryse.net. You have the best recommendations! Great characters, so unusual but I even loved the heroine in this story but really I loved them all. The storyline has love, humor, heartache and a mystery within a very strange, dysfunctional family. This one got to me... a tearful treasure. Love it!

Witty, smart endearing geeky crazy...completely lovable well written story. I guessed what was happening very early on but patiently waiting for it to unfold.

Not at all what I thought it would be - can't say pleasantly surprised but thoroughly captivated. The storyline certainly keeps your attention, the characters will either break your heart or have you asking what the hey? There's a bittersweet theme throughout the book because you just know there is a bad undercurrent from the beginning. And for a lengthy portion of the book, I remained in the dark until the truth almost jumps out and snaps the end of your nose off. And then you just feel the pai

Not a fan of this book! First 1/3 Julie's seemed to judge everyone based on their clothes and physical appearance. She seemed really bitter and horrible about her high school friends and ex. Basically she was a total hypocrite and academic snob!!
But my main issue with this book was I (along with every other reader it seems) guessed the big reveal in like chapter 2, and then had to drag myself through the rest of the book to have my suspicions confirmed!

Wow! This book was intriguingly amazing. I loved all the characters so much! I assumed what the family was hiding early on but hoped I was wrong. Sadly to say I wasn't. Even kind of knowing what was coming the writing, character development, and storyline was so wrongful it kept me from being able to put this book down. I don't want to say to much, but everyone should read this. Ending was just amazing! Hope there is another one so we can see if the progress in characters and the relationship fo
