I had this book on my "to read" list for a long time and i was a bit hesitant. a story about a wounded war vet....i REALLY didn't think i would be down for that. Well, butter my biscuits. I am SO angry that i didn't read this sooner. Dylan is what you would expect him to be, but so much more. He's young. Too young to have been through all that he's been through and Alex is your 'typical' rich girl. Just Remember to Breathe is a fantastic read. Charles Sheehan-Miles really knows how to create characters with depth and likeability that you can really connect with. I often found myself getting emotional as I followed the main characters through misunderstanding, long distance realationships and war making it hard not to get attached and feel true emotion. I had a hard time putting this book down once I started and read it in one sitting.

I had heard of Charles Sheehan-Miles from a FB book group I participate in. I had wanted to read his books, so I was super excited to see this one as a freebie on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Women typically have the market when it comes to New Adult books, but this one was perfect. I loved seeing Alex and Dylan's relationship evolve though the years. I felt their connection and fierce pull to each other. I ached with them and cheered for them too.
