What Members Thought
Ruskin's adherence to the importance of truth, natural beauty, and Christianity in art brought up a lot of contradictions in my mind, though others who combine "truth" and "faith" might be fine with his assertions in these lectures. He also makes some overly convenient divisions of history (Classical, Medieval, and Modern) without budging for the exceptions that history so often provides.
