What Members Thought
Despite talking to a couple of very smart readers about this book I am still left feeling like, "I didn't really enjoy this book, but cannot explain why." It is frustrating. But I think there are a few things that factor in. The book was written for a younger audience and I rarely like YA. The pacing is odd, where at times the characters are in stressful, hazardous situations but just sit idly doing nothing. And, I found the writing choppy at times. I am sad that it didn't work very well for me
