I thought this was a well-written story that drew me into it and the characters very well. Set in modern day Kuwait, it is told from the perspective of a young boy (who asks endless questions of the adults in his life;he later becomes a writer). The Iran-Iraq war,US invasion of Iraq and the transplanted people in Kuwait from many countries are described.
