I felt it was like an intelligent Maeve Binchey. Gentle and engaging but fairly predictable

A very entertaining and educational read. I felt I was part of the book and the family. It adds an additional dimension to the diaspora of the Irish. Loved it.

Another book I'd give 3.5 stars too if I could.
Brilliant character descriptions, and a wonderful stroll down memory lane.
