I was in grade three when one of the three major networks aired an animated adaptation of this book. If I recall correctly, it was presented as a mini-series and it may have even covered the entire Chronicles of Narnia. I immediately fell in love with the story and to my disappointment, which I have not forgotten to this day, I was not able to see anything beyond a portion of the first episode in the series. No matter how many times I read it, this classic allegorical tale delights every single time. I love the characters, the setting, the story, and Aslan. It is absolutely timeless and speaks to the dreamer inside all of us, the childlike faith not only in fantasy worlds, but also in goodness, and the desire to know that Good, ultimately, will prevail over Evil.
