Dark, disturbing and utterly mind raping. Probably not the best analogy but appropriate in so many ways. This book will make you feel and think things you don't expect of yourself. How can you hate someone or their actions but feel for them all in the same moment? Do not read this book if forced seduction/sexual situations cause triggers or anything that could damage. The author just perfectly captured the dark-tortured-villain-redeemable soul vibe in the book in a good way that it made me wanting to truly like Caleb instead of shouting bloody profanities at him and running in opposite direction. It was totally captivating from the start of the book.I cant wait to read the second book and know what direction the story will take.
