An interesting read but it was a bit like work trying to make my way the bits about Pilate, Judas, Yeshua and Levi. I wish Bulgakov has devoted more time to Ivan and the Master and Margurita. I loved Bohemoth...he was hilarious! This is no where as good as anything Dostoevsky has written.
