This has been on my list forever to read but never got around to it. Had I known that it was less than 100 pages and only an hour or so read, I might have gotten there sooner.

Yes, ego is not all bad, but it's not all good either. Rand makes sense to me when she enlightens about the downfalls of socialism. I'm a Marxist in its ideality but it's inherently corrupt in its application as humans are inherently corrupt. I have to draw lines on the goodness of the ego that Rand lays out at the end...
