A very enjoyable urban fantasy read. It does have some strong similarities to other urban fantasy series, most notably the Dresden series of course. But there are definitely some things to set it apart. First of all, the main character is a very old Druid, a practitioner of her magic. I really enjoyed this.
It’s basically a more humorous version of Dresden files. Lots of silly pop culture geeky references. BSG, South Park, Wizard of Oz, you name it.
I really wish I knew Irish folklore better. I was a bit lost with the names and powers of the gods mentioned in the beginning but eventually caught on.
I really enjoyed the first one. The Relationship between Atticus and his dog Oberon (who talks to him telepathically) is hilarious. Much out loud laughing and or snorts of amusement.
