A well written novel geared towards middle school kids. I think middle school girls would find this especially interesting. It's a painless way to introduce them to the atrocities perpetrated by the Nazis during WWII, while still appealing to their sense of adventure. The heroine is a young girl struck down by polio who is manipulated and used by the Nazis for purposes of propaganda. There is a sequel to this book in which the story is continued.
