Wow. This book is a mess on so many levels I'm not sure where to even begin. First, it's a damn shame that King chose to take what could have been an interesting story centered around the Kennedy assassination and turn it into nothing more than a liberal lovefest worshipping all that is Kennedy and a political diatribe against all that is Republican, conservative and/or religious. I was well aware of King's political views when I read this book, as well as every other King book I've read, but ne

I get what King is trying to do with this book, having the JFK assassination as goal for the main character to achieve, but its more about the main character's relationship with the other characters. I felt that was unneeded, so it would have been much better if the book was a normal novel at 300 to 400 pages, or a novella or novelette or even better a short story. Why does all his books now have to be a monster 700 pages+ novels in same way that feels like its dragging on forever, never ending?

Wow! Yeah, as a review that pretty much sucks. But fucking wow!

I absolutely loved this book; I flew threw it faster than most books I have read and I even tried to take it easy to not miss a single detail. I think the reason I loved this so much is for the sheer fact I didn’t really expect to like it. I am not a fan of historical fiction so this is not something I would have chosen. However, it is a Stephen King novel so I had to, I am so glad I did.

Haven’t we all wished we could go back in time and do over some things in our life? We don’t think of the cost to ourselves or the world as we know it. Every action good or bad has a causal effect on modern day time, so Stephen King illustrates in his well written 11/22/63.
‘The past is obdurate.’

Wow, where to start with this one? So much to say and so hard to try and get my thoughts into a coherent order. I was looking forward to this book ever since it was announced. Maybe not with as much anticipation as I was (and still am) looking forward to the new Dark Tower book, but still with a huge amount of that old rabid-fan-girl eagerness. Then, it was released and people in the Stephen King Fans group started talking about it, both good and bad, and I tried so hard to not read the threads

What an amazing book! I don't like scary books or movies so I never thought I'd read Stephen King but now I can say, he's a great author. I listened to this book after downloading it from audible.com. It was long but very engaging and unpredictable. Also, I learned a lot about JFK's assassination.

Its only recently I began reading Stephen King books, it took reading ‘Full Dark, No Stars’ to bring me back to his world and I am so glad I did, Stephen King is back!
’22.11.63’ is definitely now one of my favourite Stephen King books, the story is brilliantly told, so intricate in how the story is told, nothing has been missed, the authenticity shines through as Jake goes back in time to stop one of the major events of history. I loved going back in time with Jake. The historical portions of this novel really kept me interested. Some parts were a little too much for me ... the sex scenes seemed a bit much for a Stephen King book and I found the use of "hon" and "honey" nauseating. Neither one of those spoied the book for me though. I especially found the little visits from other books enjoyable.

I can't. It's taken over a month to get through 12%. I've been told it's a slow read with layers. No, I just find it boring. I am not interested in 850 pages of this. No thank you.
