What Members Thought
A real great, compelling read. I love the way that the novel gave differing opinions and even though at the beginning of each section I was sad to leave the last narrator behind, I easy feel into each new tone. It took me longer to handle Briony in her twenties - I felt far too aligned with Robbie and wanted her to remain the hateful child she was so I could rally against her, but in watching Briony grow, this novel gives us a great lesson in forgiveness.
