Is it just me or does the cover look very similar to the first one? I mean just look at the two. I had to look at this one again to make sure that it wasn't the just the first one in red.

It is just as pretty as the first one but I don't know if I'm even going to bother with this one. I could care less about America and who she ends up with. I mean this book is about who wins the competition and who America chooses right?

Unless I can check this out from the library and have absolutely nothing bet ...more

Despite the mixed reviews of the previous book, I actually liked Selection but Elite just let me down. Big time
In Elite, I was looking forward to getting to know more about the rebels and what they’re after and yes there were more rebel attacks but nothing happened! Sure some nameless guards were killed but the main characters were never in danger. So what’s the point of these attacks? When I find a series that I like, I WILL NOT put it down. Especially when I reaaallllly want to know how it will end. In The Selection trilogy the only thing motivating me is America's decision, Maxon or Aspen. Obviously you know who's side I am on.
The Elite takes off where The Selection ends. Not much happens in this installment. It is mainly about the ups and downs of America's complicated love life with two guys. There were many close and heart felt scenes t ...more

Maxon here's a little tip, if you like a girl you fight for her and not go after another girl for back up.That's a no no.

K you see this conversation above? YEAH WHERE IS THIS IN THE BOOK!! I keep telling myself that i have missed a pages or something..but you know what i didnt!!! I have been drooling for this conversation the entire damn BOOK!!! *Takes a deep breath"* k i needed that... So i start this book and im happy (doe

While there were some things I wasn't particularly fond of in The Elite, it was still a good sequel with great character development. The rebel attacks are becoming more often in The Elite, and characters frequently have to find safety in the safe rooms; the process isn't exactly violent, but it is intense. Other violence includes two characters, one very lovable, being caned, and we see the after effect of a character who was whipped. As for romance, things heat up for America. This brings me t

I can't believe how it ended! I'm a bit disapointed it was so short...
