From the moment that I read the synopsis I knew I would love this book. I don't often read romance or erotica books but I do read online stories. This book has been on my wishlist for ages and now I finally have read it!

I'm an ancient history geek and it shows that the plot and context were well researched. Clothing were on point, cats for rats was a thing and wine was water and basically ancient Rome, was depicted well. I liked how they kept certain words in their original name, such as ludus. ...more

Very well written. (It's telling, isn't it, that I'm still surprised when I come across a well-written book? *sigh)
It was also well-researched, which is also exciting.
